This bridge crossing is one of the oldest on the river Thames. There has
been a crossing of the Thames at Kingston since the first century AD.
It is believed that the first bridge, a 20 span construction made of
timber, was built in AD43 following the Roman invasion of England. Over
the centuries it was rebuilt and repaired on several occasions, whilst
retaining the same essential character.
The lights made this bridge so beautiful. I tied to take photos at night time manual.
