Neo-Gothic building from 1901.
We consider the originator of the construction of the new town hall to be the mayor of the turn of the century - Hans Matthes.
Earlier in the place of today's pl. Victory, next to which the present town hall stands, was undulating calmly until the mid-nineteenth century - a puddle called Quebbe.
The impressive building of the Słupsk town hall was built in just two years. It was built according to the design and under the supervision of the Berlin architect prof. Karl Zaar and engineer Rudolf Vahl.
Słupsk Town Hall is one of the few in Poland to retain its interior and specific atmosphere that its creators gave it. We are greeted by a beautiful entrance hall. Lamps with gas cocks in the corridors, because the building was once lit by gas. In the office of the Mayor of the City, original wallpapers from over a hundred years ago and the first mayor's desk, it is also worth visiting the town hall tower towering over the city - from which you can admire the panorama of Słupsk
