The bright lights of Canary Wharf's towers provide quite the spectacle after dark.
Canary Wharf is a relatively recently gentrified area of London where in the past the merchant ships would dock. It was part of the very busy West India docks which were closed in 1980. In 1988 it was decided to redevelop it into what is now the second largest financial centre in London, with also some other business based there.
