Słupsk a city in the Pomeranian Voivodeship, in northern Poland

Slupsk (Słupsk) is a medium-sized city along the Słupia River in the northwestern part of the Pomeranian Voivodship. It received its city rights in the beginning of the 14th century and joined the Hanseatic League not long thereafter. For almost three centuries, at the end of the Middle Ages, Slupsk was the capital of the Duchy of (Western) Pomerania.
