WITH DEDICATION TO FRIENDLY PEOPLE FROM SMALL VILLAGE THURLASTON LEICESTERSHIRE LEG WHO I MET IN THIS WONDERFUL PLACE AND THEY LIFT ME TO DAVENTRY MY LIVELING PLACE
******THANK YOU

The family home of the Spencers for almost five hundred years and spanning twenty generations. Set in beautiful surroundings, it is well known for its fine collection of paintings, furniture and porcelain. It also houses an exhibition commemorating the life of Diana, Princess of Wales. Located 5 miles west of Northampton
Althorp was built in 1508, by the Spencers, for the Spencers, and that is how it has remained for over 500 years.

Charles, Ninth Earl Spencer has been in charge for just 23 of the House’s 500-year history but has striven in that time to make a positive difference, by taking an uncompromising approach to the continuing wellbeing of Althorp.
Showcasing one of Europe’s finest private collections of furniture, paintings and ceramics, each intriguing room of this magnificent family home has a fascinating story of its own
UNFORTUNATELY I COULDN'T TAKE ANY PHOTOS INSIDE. PLEASE CHECK THIS WEBSIDE TO SEE WONDERFUL EXPOSITION INSIDE THIS HOUSE
