The Karkoszczonka Pass -Poland

Karkoszczonka Pass (729 m) is the lowest passage from west to east in the main ridge of the Silesian Beskids, stretching from Trzy Kopce near Klimczoka to Malinowska Skała in the range of Skrzyczne and Mount Barania Góra. The pass is the shortest connection between Brenna and Szczyrk. There are popular hiking trails in the area and a private hostel called “Uncle Tom's Cabin".
The educational trail, which runs through the areas of the Silesian Beskid, makes tourists acquainted with the wildlife of the local forests. The route starts in Brenna Bukowa and ends in the pass of Mount Karkoszczonka with a height of 723 m above sea level. Along the trail, there are information boards about the Beskid flora and fauna. The trail is not too long. It is about 3 km long, and it takes just over an hour to walk along it. One can continue hiking, for example, towards the nearby massif of Mount Klimczok.
